All of the above can lead to eye fatigue and the discomfort associated with it. UVA and UVB don’t make it through to your retina as they are absorbed by your cornea and crystalline lens. Blue Light with its shorter more intense wavelength makes it through to your retina, and does its damage. Nikon Optical and Essilor have both responded to this problem and have added coating options which include blue filters.
